AV solutions in class of its own

– In Hempel’s new HQ

Moving into Hempel’s HQ you immediately see the beautiful spiral staircase, which is inspired by the organic form that occurs when two colors of paint are mixed together. The same organic shape is also present in Hempel’s logo. The staircase is the focal point from which the reception, auditorium, meeting facilities, offices and fitness area spread out elegantly Throughout the building.

Attention is being paid to details everywhere, and in line with this, ProShop Europe has installed state-of-the-art AV equipment that makes work processes easily executable, the meeting rooms are easy to book and operate, and provides the opportunity to broadcast both small and large meetings or events to the entire worldvia screen solutions tailored to the individual rooms.

CG Jensen has been responsible for the enterprise and Sweco Architects has designed this striking domicile.

“Proshop Europe has been a good cooperation partner for several years and has been responsible for the technical execution of, among other things, Hempel Leadership Summit. It was obvious to choose Proshop Europe as a supplier of AV solutions in our new Campus, as they know the “house” and our high demands for quality and user-friendliness. We have been very satisfied with the collaboration, and the users have welcomed the AV solutions.” – Michael Steen Petersen, Director, Group Technology and Engineering, Hempel.

Jesper Rosgaard, Business Development Manager, ProShop Europe:

“The chosen AV solutions reflect Hempel’s high demands for quality, user-friendliness and aesthetics. The design is made in close dialogue with user groups and Michael Steen Petersen (Director, Group Technology and Engineering). “

Michael Steen Petersen, Director, Group Technology and Engineering:

“During the process, there has been a good dialogue about e.g. design of user interfaces, which makes operation easy and intuitive.”

The auditorium

The auditorium is designed so it can be used both for everyday uses such as Teams meetings and so-called “walk-in presentations”, but also for events that require assistance from AV technicians. One of those types of meetings is the Hempel Leadership Summits, which can now be held in-house.

The centerpiece in the room is an impressive Expromo LED-screen of 13×3.5m with a resolution of over 6.7 million pixels. One or more simultaneous presentations can be shown here, on top of background images that can be adapted to the individual event.

The infrastructure is from Lightware and is naturally prepared for 4K.

Since the room is equipped with a motorized chair structure, so that it is possible to switch between “flat floor” and auditorium structure, we have used a loudspeaker system from Fohhn, which allows for optimal sound coverage of audience seats, regardless of the use of the room.

When you change the chair set-up, the speaker coverage changes with a single press on the Crestron control panel. The slim Fohhn loudspeakers are integrated beautifully into the back wall of the stage, together with the large LED screen.

The room is operated via a Crestron control panel, integrated into the wall, next to the LED screen.

The good speech sound in the auditorium is ensured with a digital and encrypted wireless microphone system from Shure.

The stage is lit with ETC Source Four and Color Source PAR lamps, which can both be operated from the Crestron control system, but also via a lighting desk, which is used at larger events, where additional lighting and effects are added.

– It is always a pleasure to be part of a project where the customer is engaged and contributes positively, concludes Jesper Rosgaard.
