World-class golf and screens
Danish Golf is the organization behind the renowned Danish Open, which is part of the DP World Tour. The tournament attracts both international top names and dedicated golf enthusiasts, and is held in collaboration with GolfPromote ApS, which is behind the event production.
The event places high demands on both experience and execution, not only on the course, but also on the screens.
5 LED screens, live streams and real-time leaderboard
For the Danish Open, ProShop Europe delivered a complete AV solution in collaboration with GolfPromote. We installed a total of 5 LED screens:
- 4 pcs. in size 5.5 x 3 meters
- 1 pc. in size 10 x 6 meters
In addition, we delivered all necessary equipment for displaying and distributing content, including PCs, 5G routers and support for an additional LED screen.
The Setup
We received live video from the DP World Tour via both online feeds and fiber/SDI signal from the OB truck. The content was distributed and combined with an overlay that integrated live images, leaderboard and press photos into one unified feed. The leaderboards were always visible, while the overlay was used for additional information and highlights of the day, provided by the DP Tour media team.
The result was a flexible and reliable AV solution that delivered sharp communication to the audience in the midst of golf’s absolute top class.
