At the annual Aarhus Festival (2011) the audience could experience two impressive shows on the façade of the old Hotel Royal – graphic arts,
colours, fireworks, bouncing balls, a thunder storm and much more brought the building to life. Each night after dark people gathered on the square in front of the hotel to be fascinated by the popular shows, which were projected on the hotel’s façade.

The projected shows are a total solution supplied by ProShop Europe, who have compiled the technical solution as well as designed and produced the graphic content.
“It has been interesting working with such a large format, where precision is everything. Based on the building’s history and architecture we have created small themes that either tell a story or plays with and on the building’s façade”, says Art Director at ProShop Europe,
Niels-Ole Schmidt.
