AKKC

Aalborg Congress & Culture Centre (AKKC) is one of Scandinavia’s biggest and most flexible congress and culture venues.

The venue is a popular location for concerts, theatre plays, fairs and exhibitions, meetings, conferences and seminars.

SMD provides greater visibility
In the early summer of 2010, we installed a 26 m² SMD screen on the façade of AKKC’s main building. The screen is compiled of EXP16 SMD-O cabinets, which are custom designed for outdoor use. The idea behind the screen is to attract the attention of visitors and passers-by and thereby increase the exposure of their events. One of their ideas is to rent out the screen to organisers of fairs and congresses and let them use it for advertising the fair, events during the fair, guest speakers, products and so on.

AKKC has already enjoyed benefits from their big screen and their customers are very enthusiastic about the new advertising possibilities. The screen solution that AKKC has invested in contains many applications and it will be interesting to see how the screen will be used in the future.
